Circumstances may vary, the struggles people are going through are remarkably similar. In conversations in our communities we have learned that:
- You are concerned about ill-advised development. You are a teacher, mechanic, retail associate, entrepreneur, accountant, manager, production associate, health practitioner, office associate, artist, farmer, financial planner or voter. Regardless of your job, you know good businesses are important to the community. But you've seen little meaningful growth or inconsistent planning and wonder about the future of the community.
- You are concerned about increased traffic and speeding vehicles. You may be a parent, commuter or coach or run a small retail store, or some other business or operation that people travel to. You wonder if the increase in traffic is causing you added stress, creating road rage or is affecting your business. You are concerned about safety.
- You are a long time residents or recently moved to the area. People live in the community because of its rural character or have moved here for a better quality of life. You are finding there are many unknowns and uncertainties as to whether this quality (clean air and water, less congestion, open space, farmland, less stress, safety, wildlife and close rural community) will continue. You wonder about the value of your property if the quality deteriorates beyond your control.
We have learned a great deal about the impact of withdrawing more water than an aquifer can sustain and transporting it on heavily traveled roads. These impacts will significantly change the quality of life and rural character we treasure.
We are dedicated to protecting and guarding groundwater, property values, and the health and safety of the residents of Nottingham, Barrington and surrounding communities.

Help Maintain Quality of Life by helping us
You have the power to make the decision to fight for your quality of life and protect your property values. A water mining and bottling company has the potential to negatively impact property values and hence the tax burden of all citizens; likewise traffic safety is a great concern of anyone traveling on Routes 4 and 125. You have the power to demand that state agencies take local concerns seriously about traffic safety, water quality, and potential adverse effects on our neighborhoods.
